Experiences at Alexander Schools

Evelyn Moss

During the Business Meeting on August 7, 2010, Evelyn Krause Moss talked about a letter that she received from Rae Padgett about his experiences as a student at Alexander Schools and how they shaped his life. She would like to get information from other ASI alumni about their experiences at Alexander Schools in order to create a book. Attached is the letter from Rae Padgett. If you would like to add a letter about your experiences, contact Evelyn Moss at 910-944-8146 or zemoss@alltel.net.

Mr. Bill Floyd sent me a copy of "The Round Hillian" for Feb. 16, 1925. He writes, "I am not a member and really don't have any connections to the school. I just happen to like history and genealogy and really believe we should not destroy anything of any historical value. I think I found the copy in an old house but not sure. I hope they are of value to you folks."....Carol West
